Time Lapse Stock Footage
When I blink in the night then have a dream, it's time lapse footage every time. When clouds skitter across a sky, I can sleep in horizon's line. When the cat talks in tongues and my room changes hue and the sun sets in record time; when traffic streaks though dizzy streets and the moon gives day a run, it's like time lapse wine.
I don't like to wake up but all this lapse has got me reeling and moving way too fast to sleep. So I'll open my eyes to stock footage of normal time and take breaths both shallow and deep.
And when time lapse calls, I'll go back to dream of flying mist and racing moons. And dawns that come seconds after dusk and a bolt down Mulholland Drive. See you there soon.
