High Definition TV is the new digital wide screen television format designed to replace NTSC and PAL analog systems. If you're looking for superior picture quality and your production is to be shown in America, Japan or Europe on HDTV choose this format.

NTSC:
D1: 720x486 29.97fps progressive. All NTSC clips are encoded QuickTime PhotoJPEG at a 98% quality setting.

NTSC is the professional SD (single definition) broadcast quality standard for North America and Japan. If your production is to be shown on a television in North America or Japan choose this format.

PAL:
D1: 720x576 25fps progressive. All PAL clips are encoded QuickTime PhotoJPEG at a 98% quality setting.

PAL is the professional SD (single definition) broadcast quality standard for Europe, Asia, Australia and South America. If your production is to be shown on a television outside of North America and Japan choose this format.

Multimedia WMV:
640 x 480 15fps progressive. All Multimedia WMV clips are dual encoded 5300 Kbps Variable Bit Rate.

The Multimedia WMV clips have been fully optimized for use in PowerPoint and other presentation software packages including EasyWorship, MediaShout, iWork and ProPresenter with Flip4Mac.

Stereoscopy is a technique for creating or enhancing the illusion of depth in an image by presenting two offset images separately to the left and right eye of the viewer. Both of these 2-D offset images are then combined in the brain to give the perception of 3-D depth.

4k Left and Right:
4096x2304 29.97fps progressive. This is the most flexible of the stereoscopic formats. The high resolution enables you to adjust the parallax and crop the video to best match your project.

HD Anaglyph:
1920x1080 29.97fps progressive. The anaglyph image shows both right and left images superimposed for previewing with 3D glasses (red/blue or red/cyan).

HD Left and Right:
1920x1080 29.97fps progressive. Two separate HD files offering some parallax flexibility. The files can either be combined into an anaglyph or linked for playback.

HD Stereo Pair:
1920x1080 29.97fps progressive. Left and Right images are side by side and squeezed into one HD image.

All stereoscopic 3D clips are encoded QuickTime PhotoJPEG at a 98% quality setting unless they contain a matte and then they are QuickTime Animation codec.

Simply purchase the HD footage as normal and then contact A Luna Blue with your order number and format specifications. There is no additional charge and the conversion usually takes 24hrs.

Our HD, NTSC and PAL clips use Quicktime codecs and are compatible with any system that has the latest version of QuickTime installed. They can be used in most video editing systems including Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Studio, Avid Media Composer, NewTek SpeedEDIT, Pinnacle Studio and Sony Vegas.
